To a great extent, this trend is quite understandable, given that we live in a society which is tremendously fashion conscious. In fact, in many cases, unless you and your accessories are in fashion, many people will actually go as far as to look down on you.

While I may be wrong, I think it’s safe to assume that you took the phone’s looks into account first, before even asking about the various features. Sure you want all the latest features such as the newest game, internet capability, camera, etc, etc. Hey, nobody is saying you should go without them but let’s be realistic here at the same time and say, it really would be wise to spend a little more time when it comes to choosing a phone. After all, mobile phones nowadays are pretty expensive, particularly if you replace your phone regularly, and believe it or not, there are many people out there who buy a new phone each year, or even twice a year, and each time they do, they base their choice primarily of the phones aesthetic qualities.
It seems to have become completely acceptable for people to head to the nearest mobile phone shop, the minute their existing phone is deemed to be out of fashion. Most astonishing of all is, the vast majority of people never even make use of all the features they so desperately want when they buy the phone, and if they do, it’s usually only during the first couple of weeks. The bottom line is, mobile phones are nowadays more to do with fashion and style, than they are with usability. So, are you one of the millions in search of the latest fashion accessory, commonly known as a mobile phone? If so, don’t feel bad because you’re certainly not alone. Instead, simply try to enjoy your phone as much as possible and take time to learn all about the various functions it has to offer – you may just end up being surprised.
