Eyewitness: Smooth however unsatisfying thriller in regards to a creating janitor who uses his second-hand experience of an unsolved slaughter to get close to a girl Television news journalist with whom he’s been infatuated. The Bliss of Mrs. Blossom: Oddball, primordial comedy with delightful behaviors. Spouse of brassiere producer keeps a lover in their attic for 5 years. The movie weighs down toward the end, although for the most part a pleasure. Cast includes Shirley Mac Laine, Richard Attenborough, James Booth, Freddie Jones, Bob Monkhouse, and John Cleese. Rising Sun: John Connor and Web Smith are sent to investigate a murder at a Japanese corporate building. The murder investigation becomes very complex and intriguing immediately. Nothing is what it seems in this murder mystery.
Primal Fear: Genius defense lawyer Martin Vail sees a great opportunity in taking the case of a poor young man accused of killing the Catholic archbishop. When he interviews his frightened client he starts to believe in his innocence, even though all the evidence points toward him. He conceives a brilliant defense. Will his client be found guilty, or innocent?
Alaska: Adolescent venture yam on a grand scale, as a brother and sibling take off looking for their dad and his downed plane. Structured like an old grade-B melodrama, however implemented with conviction contrary to magnificent, snowy landscape and characterizing an irresistible polar bear who befriends the youngsters. Heston, whose child prompted the drama, plays a mean, cunning poor gentleman. Cast includes Thora Birch, Vincent Kartheiser, Dirk Benedict, Charlton Heston, Duncan Fraser, and Gordon Tootoosis. (110 minutes, 1996)
Mickey Blue Eyes: Alarmingly unfunny characteristic based on the renowned nearsighted animation personality refreshed in the energized credits, with Greg Burson filling in for Jim Backus as the voice of Magoo. Nielsen does his best unconditionally, although the pointlessly difficult structure-in reference to the theft of a dear cherry-just goes on and on. And there are a tremendous amount of mean spirited characters for a babies’ film. Cast includes Hugh Permit, James Caan, Jeanne Trippet, Leslie Nielsen, Jennifer Gamer, Malcolm McDowell, and Miguel Ferrer. (103 minutes, 1999)
